The Samsung Galaxy Buds are "surprisingly repairable": this is the verdict from iFixit about the new headphones from the "true wireless" of the giant south Korean, presented in conjunction with the Galaxy family S10, the Galaxy Fold, and the Galaxy Watch Active. The plastic wrap you are unable to open with relative ease, since the two parts are interlocking and do not use the glue, and the batteries included are simple unit-cell replaceable.
The operation is clearly aimed at the common user, but helps to increase the longevity of the accessories. Some aspects of the process could be improved: it is necessary to proceed with great care in the removal of the internal components, with the risk of tearing the wires. Some of the cables in the charging case are connected to the motherboard via soldering instead of the connectors; and, finally, some components are fixed by using adhesives, which, however, are not too strong and can be reuse. Overall, the score is 6 out of 10.
