Resident Evil: Project Resistance – gameplay videos, photos, and details of the game
At the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom has revealed definitively the Project of Resistance (working title) in the world, the new third-person survival-horror set in the universe of Resident Evil that takes the formula of the series and the model in a online game asymmetric with five players in the multiplayer game, combining dynamic cooperative than competitive. To accompany the presentation of the game, Capcom also showed the first gameplay trailer, which shows the game for PS4, Xbox One and PC in action.
The game was created in collaboration with NeoBards Entertainment, and utilizes the sophisticated KING Engine, the same engine used for the new Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5.
“In every game 4v1, a player Mastermind will follow four Survivors through a network of security cameras, staying a step ahead at every turn to prevent their escape,” according to the description of the game. “Mastermind will have to plot a course to the mortal wielding a deck of strategic cards to create dangerous obstacles, how to summon evil creatures, set traps, manipulate the environment and arming your security cameras. You can also directly control the zombies in the game. The Survivor will need to work together as a team to repel the attacks of Mastermind and complete objectives to escape from the map before the time runs out. Each Survivor has unique abilities to help their team to overcome the challenges and survive the accident experiment”.

The title is, therefore, quite different from anything the series has ever seen. Project Resistance is in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC. At the moment there has been no launch date or even a window, but a beta should arrive next month.
