Release date for Another Lost Phone: Laura's Story
The developers (or rather, the developers) of the study Accidental, Queens, have announced the release date for Another Lost Phone: Laura's Story, their new title, narrative, and full of mystery. This is the spiritual sequel to the title with which the small French studio has made its debut as such, that is, A Normal Lost Phone, among other things, the winner of various awards in the field of independent video games. Another Lost the Phone: Laura's Story will arrive on the 21st September, 2017 on the PC (through Steam and compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux) but also on smartphones with Android and iOS (cost €2.99 and €3,49 respectively).
In Another Lost Phone: Laura's Story, players will make the road between the questions and puzzles in the original story, the fulcrum of which lies in a mysterious lost phone. Will have to figure out what happened to the owner of the phone, or Laura, a young woman seemingly vanished without a trace. The information that we gather will be scattered, and often we will need the password hidden between the texts, images and social networks. We'll delve so deeply into the life of Laura, also touching on the social aspects that are rarely treated in a video game.
Although Another Lost Phone: Laura's Story, according to developers, will be immediately recognized as the sequel of A Normal Lost Phone, we will be facing to a new story, new areas, new puzzles, and new mysteries to solve.
Remember that A Normal Lost Phone was released at the beginning of 2017, and has sold over 100,000 copies. The awards include the European Women In Games Conference (being the studio founded by women, three to be precise), the Game Connection Europe “Best Indie game” and an IGF Honorable Mention for the best narrative. Recently the title has been nominated for an award at the IndieCade Festival in 2017.
