Fantastic Four #1 already has more than 300,000 copies of the preorder at the comics of the american when it will be launched in August.
“Starting this August I will write and Sara Pichelli will draw the largest comic book magazine in the world: the only, the FANTASTIC FOUR!” Said Slott in an interview with Marvel.com. “Oh, boy. We are under a total silence when it comes to talking about this series. For months this was the greatest secret of the Marvel. It seems so nice to be able to finally say to someone out of the loop. Heck, just let me shout: I'M WRITING THE FF!”
“Honestly, this is a dream all of my life. The first superhero comics I read were the copies of my cousin's Fantastic Four #48-50, “The arrival of Galactus and the first appearance of the Silver Surfer. For me, personally, it's been a long time. I've always had notebooks full of stories that I would like to do if ever I could put hands on these characters!”
In the meantime, while waiting for the release of the number, we can take a look at some of the covers variant, realized by great authors for the occasion.
The first of these is Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, who has produced four different variant for each member of the team, giving us a further glimpse at the new uniforms that we have already glimpsed in the cover regular Esad Ribic.
The legend of Marvel comics, Joe Quesada, Chief Creative Officer of the publishing house, attends the festival of Fantastic Four #1 with a variant.
The cover features in the foreground to the cosmic devourer of planets, Galactus, that he made his famous debut in the first volume of the comic book Fantastic Four the years ’60, in which vidimo even the arrival of the Silver Surfer in the universe of Marvel comics.
Best known for the series of The Goon, also the writer/illustrator Eric Powell illustrates a variant for the return of the quartet.
