PREVIEW – Glénat: Conan the Barbarian Morvan & Alary
The French publisher of comics Glénat has published new pages of Conan Morvan and Alary, based on the original stories of Ronald E. Howard, now that the property is no longer covered by copyright outside of the United States.
We'll see if we will find an agreement for a publication in English, maybe with Marvel Comics, the new publisher of the adventures of the cimmero.
We remind you that the first volume, The black colossus, is expected for the may 2, 2018. In addition to an edition in color, the volume will also be published in black-and-white.
Conan, once a thief errant, tries his luck as a professional warrior, joining with the mercenary forces of Amalric to live as a soldier. However, something much more than luck will lead Conan on a collision course with the army, the strongest that has ever faced! Princess Yasmela of Khoraja is haunted by terrifying apparitions of the wizard Natohk, and when Natohk threatens to bring his demonic hordes to Khoraja, Yasmela prays to the god Mitra for help. Mitra responds and tells her to put the fate of her entire kingdom into the hands of the first man that he meets in the streets of the city – and that man is a barbarian drunk, hesitant! Conan may be the hope for the survival of Khoraja, but his distrust of the classes with more modest could derail any possibility of working together to stop the conquest of Natohk.
