Apple has complied with the obligation to publish a corrective statement on their official website in Italian, respecting the terms established by the Agcm on the occasion of the judgment, in which both Apple and Samsung have been accused and fined for having slowed down some of their devices through the practice of planned obsolescence.

With regard to the house of Cupertino, the Antitrust authority has ruled that owners of the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have not been properly informed about the possible performance hit derived by the installation of one of the updates of iOS 10 (in particular, 10.2.1). Remember that this occurs only in the presence of a battery that is worn out and not able to support the device in question to its maximum potential, which is why Apple has applied a reduction of performance in order to avoid sudden shutdowns.

The Antitrust authority has established that the house of Cupertino has not informed properly of its users in the installation phase of the update and is not offered - if not in a late - any tool to restore the original functional devices updated. Below is the text that you can find in the lower part of the home of the Italian site of Apple.Apple iPhone 6s Plus is available online, from eBay to 410 euros.
