Osram Opto Semiconductors has presented at the MWC 18 new innovative solutions that provide applications for visible light, and invisible in the next generation of mobile devices.
Many of the technologies present on smartphones are based on the light. The illumination of the display and the flash are the applications more obvious, but not to be forgotten is the technological developments in infrared and laser exploited for example by Apple for its facial-recognition system.
