Opera launches Opera GX for the macOS

Opera has officially released the browser game GX for users of macOS with early access. The browser game GX is described as a complement for the players, designed to allow the games to run with maximum graphics power as possible.

Opera says that Opera GX is a “special version of the Opera browser,” which aims to “integrate the games“. The goal is to help us get “the most out of both games that the navigation“. The basis of the Work GX is a set of controls that allow us to set the amount of RAM and CPU and the browser can use.

The controls collection allows us to limit the CPU, RAM and network bandwidth used from our bowser. The work cites a survey conducted, which suggests that the limits of memory and network are two of the major technical barriers that people face when they play.

Work GX has a unique set of features that provides solutions to these problems. The set of limiters of the browser, which includes a limiter of the bandwidth of the network, as well as the limiters of the CPU and of the RAM, prevents the browser to consume more resources. In practice, this means that the machines all have more resources for the games running.

If you are interested to try the Opera browser GX, you can download it now from Opera's website.
