One-Punch Man: the first video preview of the second season

The official website of the second season of the animated One-Punch Man, inspired by the manga written by ONE and drawn by Yusuke Murata and serialized on Tonarino Young Jump (Shueisha), has unveiled the first preview video that features some of the leading figures and unpublished in the new anime: Saintama, Genos, Garou (character rookie in the new series) and many others.

The synopsis of the new series:

“Saitama is a hero for fun. After having been subjected to a special training of three years, he has become so strong as to be practically invincible. In fact, it is really too strong, and even his most dreaded adversaries are swept away with a single punch. Now, the prediction of the great prophet, Madame Shibabawa about the domain of the Earth seems to materialize from the moment that they are occurring more and more frequent accidents charged to the monstrous creatures. With Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama begins to carry out his business hero and to respond to his duties in the name of the member Association's official Heroes, while Garou, a man completely captivated by the monsters, makes its appearance“.

Regarding the cast, all of the japanese voices of the first season will cover up their role in the second. The novelty is Garou, which will be voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa.

The second season of the animated is created by studio J. C. Staff and directed by Chikara Sakurai (the director of some episodes of Naruto Shippuden). The audio manager is Yoshikazu Iwanami, Chikashi Kubota is the character designer, Tomohiro Suzuki is the composer-general of the episodes of the series and Makoto Miyazaki takes care to compose the music.

One-Punch Man is a manga written by One and drawn by Yusuke Murata in the magazine Weekly Young Jump (Shueisha). With 100 chapters which are published on a fortnightly basis, the first 90 are collected in 18 volumes. In Italy, the manga is published by Planet Manga with 14 published volumes.

The manga inspired an animated series, consisting of 12 episodes aired from 4 October to 20 December 2015. In Italy, thanks to the Dynit, was transmitted simultaneously with Japan, with subtitles, on the streaming platform VVVVID. From 12 January 2016, the dubbed version in Italian of the anime is streamed on the same platform.
