One-Punch Man II – Episode 5: The Tournament of Martial Arts | Review

Published on May 08, 2019

As already accustomed us, the souls of One-Punch Man, we will see the beautiful in the last episode of the anime inspired by the masterful work of ONE and Yusuke Murata, and thanks to the fact that they are used as a basis for the writing of the script of every single episode more chapters of the manga, the action can not be affected in a positive way, because in this way it is possible to concentrate in the brief span of twenty minutes, an abnormal amount of information, battles, and epic scenes worthy of this series, in the creation of what J. C. Staff is proving to be at the height of the MadHouse, the animation studio that is occupied with the transposition video of the first season of this exciting and action-packed anime.

As I already mentioned, the action in this episode takes place both outside, with the combined attack of a horde of Beings Mysterious that it is pouring out at great speed in the streets, and inside, thanks to a small taste of what is happening at the Martial Arts Tournament to which our Saitama is taking part by dressing up, however, the role of his friend Charanko.

Our Hero armed with a baseball bat, a metal is already very exhausted from the previous battle, but unfortunately for him he now will have to contend with the Centopedi Dean, but to aggravate this situation there will also Garou, close to where the guy landed in a random way: a shot of bad luck, in short.

Garou is not an enemy to be reckoned with, but it's not even Metal Bat, which has a secret weapon in suicide, but also quite effective: it does not matter how much damage swaps his body, Bat Metal will always be, and still be able to continue the fight until it was bubbly.

But this should not just be his lucky day: another unexpected will hinders further, even if during the viewing of the episode you will experience something unexpected, but not unheard of. Not revealing anything in detail, but I want to highlight as the ruthless Garou seem to be trying the good feelings only in respect of the children, a bit like the Syd Barrett of the last few years.

There will also be some surprises concerning the massive attack by Beings Mysterious to the cities that are inhabited by human beings, the first to focus on the one that is the focus of narration in the next episode: the Martial Arts Tournament, inevitable in a series that parodies heavily in the shonen fighting. Finally, we will be able to see the Lineup in action in the ring!

As we already know, thanks to an identity theft, our Hero for the Hobby has been able to register for the upcoming Martial Arts Tournament. For now, no one has yet found out that the guy from dazed look is not the real Charanko, so Saitama can deal with safely his first opponent in the ring; in this case a fan of One Piece like me can not recall the participation of Luffy in the competition organized by the Don Quixote Do Flamingo in Dressrosa that has as first prize the fruit Mera Mera, a time that belonged to the deceased Ace, because Luffy was on that occasion that he attended under a false name, Lucy, to be precise.

In this regard, I leave you with one last recommendation: do not interrupt the viewing of the episode on the code of the closure, because immediately after its conclusion there will be the real final scene of the episode.

The second season of One-Punch Man is distributed in simulcast with Japan, legally and for free here in Italy the online platform VVVVID.
