One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows – closed Beta | Review
I follow a little bit of time the adventures of Saitama, and I also reviewed the whole of the second season of the anime based on this bizarre manga born from the mind of ONE, and from the hand of Yusuke Murata, and it was obvious that I would not have made the opportunity to test the closed Beta of One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, the very first official video game of this series developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco.
To give you an idea of the type of game, it is a classic fighting game available in a format very similar to that of titles such as Jump Force, of which the Premium Edition you can find here my review. In the specific case of this closed Beta, players could choose between two avatars, one male and the other female, each of which is equipped with the particular different techniques; personally, I chose the female character just because one of his shots, there was the infamous Flurry of Punches to the Normal of the great Cloak Skinned.
Once you have chosen your avatar, you are transported into the lobby together, where, of course, in the Beta, several features are not available. Here, you can choose between different game modes, but the advice is always to follow first of all the tutorial, which will show you what the commands are basic in the title. The other modes available are:
Because we all know that Cloak Skinned is able to lay out anyone with a single punch, this character will only be available after a certain period of time indicated on the screen: if you want to use it, therefore, must try to survive until his arrival with the remaining two characters of your team, that may alternation in the clash as you like, to avoid a nice K. O.
As for the game system itself, you can freely move your character in different arenas, perform basic strokes (light or heavy), shots, screenings and special moves, when you have filled enough of the respective counter; in addition, once reached 6 positions, it is possible to make a Again a Mortal with so much animation, that it will deal huge amount of damage to your opponent.
Even if, for a technical opinion detailed you need to wait for the release of the full game, the combat system of this fighting game is very simple and intuitive, and for this also suitable to anyone who is not just a phenomenon in the fighting, seen also the target of a product like this, which is identified mainly in the fans of the original work that inspired it, which, then, is not said to be necessarily expert gamers.
Also from the graphic point of view, the title does not differ too much from games such as Jump Force, but because it was only a Beta is also plausible that could be made of the changes that relate to this aspect.
Thus, In short, the controls are rather simple and fluid, which made my personal experience with the closed Beta of One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows enjoyable and fun as the rest, how can it not be fun to hit opponents with the bike Spatent Rider?
The launch window of One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows " is scheduled for 2020 and the title will be available for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
