Omelette with bread
The omelette bread is an idea of recycling really original and frankly much more good than you might think. This is a recipe that is absolutely perfect for when you forgot to go grocery shopping, go to the kitchen and found eggs, old bread, and little else. You just need to soak up the bread with milk (but it is also good water, if you didn't have either) and prepare an omelette! If you wish you can also design the variants, adding some remnant of cheese, or that half an onion that remained there, look you in the latter days, and that short-term will begin to grow mold 😉 in Short, a few simple ingredients and a very simple idea, but that table usually like at all... I do for sure 🙂
Let the bread soak in the milk for at least 15 minutes.
Break the eggs into a bowl and whip with salt and pepper, then add parmesan, bread wrung out and chopped basil.
Stir to mix all the ingredients.
Heat oil and butter in a frying pan, then add the mixture and cook on low-medium heat until the eggs will not be coagulated, and then turn the omelette with a spatula and fry quickly the second side to the flame higher.
The omelette bread is ready, you can serve it hot, warm or cold.
