Of War and Men: WWII – The Second World War arrives on Kickstarter with a game of cards
Netherhavyn Game Works has officially launched the Kickstarter campaign of Of War and Men: WWII, a card game set during the period of the Second World War.
The Designer of the game is Price Johnston, her first experience with the responsible of the graphics, Chris Solis. A project perhaps a little more amateur, but that is 25 days after the close of the KS has almost reached its goal set to about 16.000€.
Of War and Men: WWII will allow 2-4 players to compete against each other in strategic battles, where the fights are emphasized on the individual characters, each with their bonus, malus and skills. The battles take place on a level playing field decided by the cards themselves, as well as the victory conditions that we will be able to pursue through a long campaign or in single missions.
Four are the armies of various nationalities that we will be able to check in Of War and Men: WWII, including american, Russian, German, and for some reason that escapes me, Polish.
The pledge base of the game, including shipping to Italy, is not just economic (63$), but the game mechanics seem interesting.
Will it be enough to convince you to fund the project on Kickstarter? Please let us know via a comment below!
