Interviewed by HeyUGuys, Anya Taylor-Joy, the interpreter of Magik in the New Mutants, has declared: “The best thing that can be said about Josh Boone, our director, who is a great fan of comic books, loves them so much that she wants to make sure to make justice to the audience who loves these characters. We all feel very lucky to interpret these characters so incredibly loved. Even if it will be completely different from the other films of the X-Men, fans will not be disappointed. New Mutants is directed by Josh Boone and written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, who have already worked with the director in the Fault of the stars.
