New Apple patents for future viewers AR and VR
Apple has filed a new patent again dedicated to the display of VR and AR, with a lot of technical features.
The viewer patented by Apple mounts an LED display and allows the user to experience virtual reality and augmented reality. The viewer offers a range of modes to scan multiple internal circuits of the display that regulate each of the individual pixels of the LED panel to display images to the user.
The patent also mentions the possibility that the scan driver of the display scan lines disabled in the scan mode, even if these do not emit visible light. The viewer is designed for use in VR than in AR. In addition, Apple has also designed a series of solutions to minimize the motion sickness.
According to some rumors, Apple may launch its viewer VR/AR in 2020.
