Netflix is already working on the distribution of the content offline
Ted Sarandos, head of content Netflix has just announced to CNBC the arrival of the offline content to the popular streaming service. This will be the next step for Netflix?
This time it is official news: Netflix is working to make their content available in offline mode. Initially, the company had always denied the rumors on the possible arrival of this new feature, but in the last few months it seems that things have changed. Netflix has just completed a pretty positive quarter, reaching well over 200 countries around the world. In many of these, however, the poor quality of the mobile networks and the limited coverage of WiFi networks, does not allow the display of content in mobility. For this reason, according to the words of Sarandos, Netflix is already working to bring their films and tv series in offline mode. This feature may arrive in certain countries, which is much more in need of a service of this type, in order to reach the United States, or other states where mobile connections are certainly not a problem. Also YouTube has already adopted a philosophy of the genre. For example, in India, users can freely download videos from YouTube and save them on your mobile device for later playback.
