Netflix announces first titles based on stories by Mark Millar
Last year, Netflix has acquired Millarworld, Mark Millar, developing several projects with Mark and Lucy Millar, including The Magic Order, which was published as the first comic book Netflix.
Millarworld, a subsidiary of Netflix, and is run by Mark and Lucy Millar. The franchise Millarworld, which includes Wanted, Kingsman, Huck, Reborn, Empress, Kick-Ass, Jupiter's Legacy, and many other titles – has got huge success all over the world, winning in the last fourteen years, several areas of entertainment: books, cinema, fashion industry, video games and toys.
During his years at Marvel, Mark Millar has written some of the best-sellers that have marked a generation, influencing in a decisive way the Marvel universe. The Ultimates has been anointed by Time Magazine as the comic book of the century and Superman Opus, Red Son, confirmed to the graphic novel starring Superman-the most sold of all times.
Mark Millar said the following:
My wife Lucy and I are working with Netflix now for the past eleven months, we could not hope to better collaboration. Assist the release of a movie based on your stories every two years is really wonderful, but to see all of your works made at the same time, to levels so high and with so much talent involved, reaches far beyond all expectations.
The artists we work with are writers and directors of which I was a big fan in the last few years, I find myself working with them excites me. This is the creative environment the most challenging I have ever worked. I can't wait to turn on my computer each morning.

Jupiter's Legacy follows the story of the first generation of superheroes in the world, active in the Thirties. Today they are the guards of the city, the great and venerated by all, but their children, they, too, have superpowers, find themselves living in the shadow of the legendary businesses of their parents.
Steven S. DeKnight's (Daredevil, Spartacus, Buffy the vampire slayer"), who recently signed a deal with Netflix, will be writer and executive producer alongside Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Dan McDermott. DeKnight will also be the director of the first episode:
The series is bilingual (Spanish and English) American Jesus tells the story of a 12-year old boy, who suddenly discovers he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. Can turn water into wine, walking on water and even raise the dead! How can manage to live with a fate that has marked the destiny of humanity for thousands of years?
Everardo Gout (Luke Cage, Sacred Lies, Mars, Banshee, Aqui En La Tierra) and Leopoldo Gout (Molly's Game, Instinct) will be co-writers and executive producers of the series. Everardo Gout will also be a director.

The queen Emporia is married to the King Morax, the worst dictator of the galaxy. After running away from the palace where he lives with his children, Emporia, and her family must hide from Morax and his army at all costs – even if this means teleport constantly from planet to planet in planet.
The writer Lindsey Beer (the Kingkiller Chronicle, the Sierra Burgess is a Loser for Netflix and the Wizards of Ounces for DreamWorks Animation) is adapting the comic into a film, while Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum (The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, Maleficent) will be the producers.
In a quiet village on the sea, Huck uses his special powers to do a good deed every day. His neighbors and reciprocate the favor by keeping the secret of his ability. When a newcomer feels the press, it unleashes a storm that will force Huck to embark on an adventure that will change everything.
Ted Melfi (Hidden Figures, St. Vincent) is taking care of the adaptation of the comic book in the film while Neal H. Moritz and Toby Jaffe will be the producers.
The film will be set in a wonderful universe, Sci-Fi, in which Sharkey will pursue the criminals across the entire galaxy in his ice cream truck. Helped by his long-time partner, you will hunt the larger size of his career.
Sharkey, the Bounty Hunter will be adapted and published as a comic book Millarworld/Netflix next year, writer Michael Bacall (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, 21 Jump Street) is writing the screenplay for the future film.
