The last trailer of the animated film, as well as the synopsis, has revealed the major Villain of the film: Nine. The latter appears in the sequences and, as always, highlighted by the Twitter user above mentioned, it seems that the author Horikoshi wanted to play with the design since it seems to be similar to another character appeared in chapter 222 of the original in the manga.
Curiosity peculiar don't you think? Simple coincidence or the author would like to include portions of his manga within the film franchise?
In the following tweet you can look at the similarity of Nine (left) with the character in the manga (to the right).
