Mode ‘Schooltime’, and new complications for the Apple Watch you can find in iOS 13

The beta version of iOS 13 reveals what appears to be a new mode of operation, the Apple Watch is designed to keep students in class activities and a series of new complications to the dial of the watch.

Call “Schooltime“, the new function should work in a similar way to the do Not disturb mode on iOS and watchOS.

The analysis of code strings show that the new mode lock access to certain apps, and complications and potentially mute the notifications coming. As do Not disturb, Apple Watch can be configured to display calls and emergency messages, as well as important notices.

We still don't know how to work this new feature, but it can be assumed that Schooltime is a type of macro settings, with users or parents can customize the restrictions of the app in the Apple app Watch for iOS prior to the automatic or manual activation. As mentioned in its name, Schooltime can be set to activate based on a preset time of the day.

Also, iOS 13 beta includes resources that point to the new complications of the dial to indicate altitude, latitude, and longitude of the user, the information is probably derived from GPS and the barometer of the Apple Watch.

The report is based on information gathered from a build internal iOS 13 distributed to Apple employees in June. Therefore, some features, such as Schooltime might not get to the final release, scheduled for the end of this month.
