Via a tweet posted on his official profile, Russell Crowe, the actor who in the film of 2003, he played captain Jack Aubrey, has surprised all the fans, implying that 20th Century Fox is taking into consideration the production of a sequel to Master and Commander: the far side of the world.
The original film, winner of 2 Oscars (best cinematography and best sound effects editing) out of 10 nominations received that year, is based on the series of novels by Patrick O'brian and tells the story of an English crew in search of a French ship in the middle of the napoleonic wars.
