House of X see Charles Xavier to reveal “his plan is supreme for the breed mutant... one that will bring the mutant outside the shadow of humanity and in the light once again.” Powers of X will tell some of the backstory on the “past, present and future secrets of the breed of mutant, changing the way in which you look at every story of the X-Men past and future”. Together, these details have been unveiled the cover art of July of the first issues of House of X and Powers of X, respectively, Pepe Larraz, and R. B. Silva.
After anticipating his return in Marvel Comics, the publisher has finally announced that Hickman will join the franchise of the X-Men during the C2E2 in Chicago. “We are excited to get Jon in the Marvel family, and we could not ask for a creative team to best help the X-Men to enter into a new era,” he said in a statement the Editor-in-Chief of Marvel comics, C. B. Cebulski. “Even if we still can't reveal too much about the story, the new series will redefine the X-Men and their place in the Marvel Universe. This is a historic moment that fans both new and old fans will not want to miss. ”
House of X #1 and Powers of X #1 will be on sale from July for Marvel Comics.
