After months of waiting, the Marvel Studios have given the presentation in Hall H at Comic-con 2019 San Diego of the Eternal; the film will premiere in cinemas on 6 November 2020. And that's not all, at Comic-con was present the entire cast of the film and was presented a new logo.

Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Brian Tyree Henry, and the rest of the cast were up on stage to talk about the movie. But for now, the only thing revealed is the logo that you see above.

Then Jolie has spoken of the role of Thena, and of the importance and the pressure to join a franchise as famous as it is now the Marvel Cinematic Universe:

“I'm going to work 10 times harder, because this means to be part of the MCU, a part of this family, we know what is the task that awaits us, what you want and we work all very hard,” said Jolie.

Eternal, remember, will debut in cinemas on 6 November 2020.

In the end, the Black Widow is officially on the list of Marvel Studios. Kevin Feige and star of the film Scarlett Johansson came up on stage at the San Diego Comic-con yesterday to announce that the film would arrive in theaters on may 1, 2020, as many expected.

Along with Johansson, Black Widow starring Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Rachel Weisz, O-T Fagbenle and Ray Winstone; the film will be a thriller of international espionage, not unlike the franchise of James Bond. As planned, it will also be a prequel.

Despite being in production a long time, this is the first time that the film was officially announced. Some photos had shown a mysterious character in the costume, which many thought it was Taskmaster; now comes confirmation; for those who don't know, Taskmaster, to.k.Tony Masters, is one of the most famous assassins of the Marvel world. The master of disguise has a photographic memory, which allows you to store the templates of fighting of his opponents.

Disney has issued a press release shortly after the presentation, confirming the role of David Harbour in the Black Widow. According to the statement, Harbour will play Alexei Shostakov, perhaps better known as the Red Guardian.

With its first appearance in The Avengers #43 (1967), Shostakov was an agent of long-standing KGB. Because of the role of Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) in the same organization, it is not clear if the character of the Harbour will be friend or foe in the film.

Harbour at the beginning of this year has had nothing but praise for Marvel Studios and the team of Black Widow:

“This woman, Cate Shortland, who is directing this film is one of the best directors I've ever worked with,” said Harbour to ComicBook.com “It's so smart and makes it so beautiful in the indie films”.

“The fact that these guys are so good at what they do, and so passionate for what they do, is incredible,” he continued. “I am very, very happy with the situation, I'm working on now, is it on a scale and on a level that is exciting, different from anything I've ever done.”

The film is officially confirmed in development. The Marvel Studios have ventured in launching the franchise, but turned out to be one of their greatest strokes of genius. Supported by the sense of humour of director James Gunn, from the memorable characters, and a soundtrack of retro, the Guardians of The Galaxy original have become one of the biggest movies of 2014. The sequel to the 2017 was an even greater success (863,8 million dollars around the world), making Guardians one of the most powerful heroes of the Earth.

During their panel at Hall H at Comic-con 2019 San Diego, the Marvel Studios have announced their list of phase 4. A release date for the Guardians 3 has not been unveiled, but Kevin Feige has confirmed that is in development and will be released soon.

With regard to the reason why the film has not yet been dated, on the one hand, Marvel has three release dates in 2022, but there is too much of a hurry to announce it. In addition, Gunn is on the job of directing The Suicide Squad for Warner Bros., and it's already been said that it will not cooperate with Marvel comics before having finished the film. Realistically, the third chapter might not be ready until 2023, but for now it is only a guess.

Marvel Studios announced that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the official title of the next film of the Sorcerer. Benedict Cumberbatch has had it for the first time the role of Dr. Stephen Strange in 2016 before appearing later along with the rest of the MCU in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. This sequel follows the events of Endgame, and will begin to explore more deeply the mysteries of the multiverse.

To accompany the Cumberbatch in the sequel is Elizabeth Olson in the role of Scarlet Witch, a role that has been revealed is directly connected to the next series Disney+, WandaVision. It is thought that the series takes place in an alternate universe, in which case a film of Doctor Strange that includes the exploration of the multiverse is the perfect movie for a crossover. The details remain scarce, but Kevin Feige explained during the panel that what happens in WandaVision connects directly to Doctor Strange in the main storyline of the Multiverse of Madness.

The film will be released on the 7th of may 2021.

The next film on the martial arts, Marvel will be officially called Shang-Chi: the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Shang-Chi is the first superhero movie with a protagonist asian Marvel. Marvel has confirmed you have chosen Simi Liu as a hero, and Tony Leung as the bad guy of the film, the Mandarin. It is assumed that the original story of Shang-Chi will be rewritten; in the comics he was the son of a crime lord named Fu Manchu, but it would make sense for him to be the son of the mandarin in the MCU.

The title has a double meaning: in the comics, the mandarin has ten rings from the alien power, while in the MCU ten rings have been portrayed as a terrorist organization in Iron Man and Iron Man 2.

The use in the title of the word “Legend” suggests that the film Shang-Chi then looks to the comics rather than the movies. In the comics, the ten rings of the mandarin contained, each the spirit of a warrior cosmic legendary from a long time dead. Were brought to Earth by an explorer alien that crashed and was forced to flee to a cave in the Valley of Spirits in China. The mandarin found the explorer and his ship, and took the rings, falling under the influence of warlike spirits contained in them.

The list of step 4 revealed a lot of movies and series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And producer Kevin Feige has closed the panel, revealing the project on the Blade, but nothing has emerged about the Fantastic 4 and the X-Men (the latter, however, the object of a relaunch in style in the comic version).

Fans of the Marvel clamored for Marvel Studios to bring the First Family of Marvel in the movies from when Disney finalized the purchase of the Fox. But the conference before Feige has said that he did not have the time to talk about the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, among others the franchise, given that the presentations of new projects continued; then, after the presentation, Feige, however, remained very cautious, and merely say that there are working.

Feige was finally cornered on this topic from Variety after the presentation in Hall H, when he was expressly asked for the introduction of the Fantastic Four in the cinematic universe Marvel:

“I am extremely enthusiastic about these characters and to bring the First Family of Marvel to the level that it deserves,” said Feige, reiterating, however, that they are not close to launch characters, or to create a story at this point.

Of course, with so many projects already in the pipeline, the wait seems to be endless, unfortunately.
