Maleficent Evil Lady: the first trailer

Disney has released the first trailer in Italian of the sequel to the live action Maleficent.

The actress awarded with the Oscar® and three Golden Globe awards®, Angelina Jolie (girl, Interrupted, Wanted – Choose your Destiny) and Elle Fanning (The Deception, Super 8) returns to the big screen in the role of Maleficent and Aurora in the new feature-length Disney live-action Maleficent – Evil Lady directed by Joachim Rønning, in Italian cinemas from 17 October 2019. In the cast, a new entry is Michelle Pfeiffer in the role of the Queen Ingrith.

In Disney movies 2014 Maleficent, the public has learned the events that hardened the heart of one of the most infamous antagonist of Disney pushing her to cast a curse on the little Princess. The new chapter, set some years after, continues to explore the complex relationship between Maleficent and the future Queen, while forming new alliances and face new opponents for protecting the forest and the magical creatures that live on it.

Directed by Joachim Rønning (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Revenge of Salazar, Kon-Tiki), Maleficent – Evil Lady is written by Linda Woolverton (Alice in Wonderland, beauty and The Beast) and Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster (Transparent) and produced by Joe Roth (Alice Through the Mirror, Oz The Great and Powerful, Maleficent) Angelina Jolie.

The film also boasts the presence of a stellar cast, which sees the actress awarded with the Golden Globe® - nominated three academy awards® Michelle Pfeiffer (Murder on the Orient Express, Ant-Man and The Wasp) in the role of the Queen Ingrith, the actor candidate for the Oscar® and Golden Globe® He Ejiofor (Doctor Strange, 12 Years a Slave), Ed Skrein (the Deadpool, The Throne of Swords) and Robert Lindsay (My Family, Wimbledon), while Harris Dickinson (the Darkest Minds, Trust) plays Prince Philip.

In this new adventure will make their return also, some members of the cast of Maleficent, including Sam Riley (PPZ – Pride + Prejudice + Zombies, Control) in the role of Fosco, the candidate in the academy award® - winning Imelda Staunton (Pride, the Harry Potter movies) in the role of the fairy Jujube, Juno Temple (The Wheel of Wonders – the Wonder Wheel, the Atonement) in the title role of the fairy Verdelia and Oscar nominee® Lesley Manville (The Wire Hidden, Topsy-Turvy – Over-Under) in the role of the fairy Fiorina.
