LTE on Apple Watch, Apple sued for infringement of a patent
The Uniloc back to the office and, as a good “patent troll”, the complaint again Apple for some patents that the company would have used without permission on the Apple Watch Series 3, LTE.
The complaint was filed at a court in Texas, was usually the most inflexible when it comes to infringement of patents. According to Uniloc, Apple would have used without the permission of a patent on “systems monitoring and methods of exercise used on Apple's new Watch Series 3, LTE. Also, this Apple Watch would violate other patents related to the functionality in the mobile phones of the new smartwatch and its capacity of geolocation.
This complaint is only the latest of a long list of complaints filed by Uniloc against Apple, and against many other multinational tech. Now it's up to the judges to decide whether to go ahead with the case or not.
