Live enter new markets, the objective is Europe
In just 8 years, the chinese manufacturer Vivo has become the fifth largest manufacturer of smartphones in the world (data from Gartner, relating to the sales in Q2 2017). The expansion plans have not stopped, and the company asian has announced today the official entrance into new markets, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Africa and Russia. Indeed, Russia is considered to Live the “first foray” in the european market, demonstrating the strong interest of the chinese manufacturer to become a protagonist also in the Old Continent.
Vivo intends to exploit to the maximum the current “wave of china”: according to Counterpoint, the brand, the chinese hold, in fact, 48 percent of the entire global market of smartphones. Why stop at the already profitable asian markets (chinese and indian) and does not expand where the demand is still high?
