Kuo: iPhone XS Max much more popular than the XS, the version with 256GB is the most popular
Ming-Chi Kuo has today released new details on the sales of the iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. But in addition to confirm the marked success of the model by 6.5" at the expense of the base model, the reliable analyst has shared information on the Apple Watch Series 4.
Going straight to the point, Kuo believes that the iPhone XS Max sells three or four times better than the younger brother of the XS, and with the cuts of memory 64/256/512MB, many users would be opting for the 256GB model. As for the colours, currently the most popular are the Gold and Space Gray.
The analyst launches an interesting prediction about the iPhone users who purchase a new model. According to Kuo, the majority of users, in the case of upgrade, will decide to buy an iPhone XR (that will come on the market in October), and not an iPhone 8/8 Plus.
Apple Watch Series 4 was, according to many, the true protagonist of the event, Gather Round, and, not surprisingly, Kuo has confirmed that the smartwatch is selling more than expected. By the end of 2018, Apple could ship 18.5-19.5 million units of the wearable device.
