Kuo: Apple will launch five iPhone in 2020

Apple is expected to release five new models of the iPhone in 2020, according to the latest forecast analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

In a research note TF the International Securities, obtained by MacRumors, Kuo has outlined his expectations for a so-called iPhone IF 2 with a LCD display of 4.7 inches in the first half of 2020, followed by a range all-OLED high-end composed of a model by 5.4 inches, the two models 6.1-inch display and a model to 6.7 inches in the second half of the year.

Kuo expects that all four of the high-end models support a 5G with a Qualcomm modem X55, adding that the availability of models with only the Sub-6G or Sub-6G-plus-mmWave for 5G will vary depending on the Country.

The analyst is also expected that iPhone models with mmWave will be available in five markets, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Korea and the United Kingdom, while Apple may disable the feature Sub-6G in countries that do not offer a service 5G or have a surface cover to reduce the cost of production.

The so-called iPhone IF 2 should have the same design of the iPhone 8, including a display of 4.7 inches with frame and home button with Touch ID, but with a chip A13 faster, and 3 GB of RAM. The device will have a rear camera single lens, according to Kuo, as the iPhone IF the original and the iPhone 8.

The four iPhone the high-end should have a design similar to the iPhone 4, including a new metal frame that probably will show off the edges more dishes.
