Kuo anticipates the news about the coming Apple Watch and AirPods
The analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is back to talk about Apple products and does so with some predictions concerning the upcoming Apple Watch and AirPods.
Kuo reiterated his earlier rumor stating that the next Apple Watch will be available in denominations of 40mm, and 45mm, which will replace the current 38mm and 40mm. The new model will integrate technology for the advanced detection of heart rate.
It is not clear whether the larger screens offer more internal space for additional components, even if Kuo speaks of an autonomy improved considerably thanks to a higher battery capacity.
At design level, there should not be major changes compared to the current models. The new Apple Watch should be available by the end of the year.
With regard to the AirPods, whose mass production should start in the third quarter of 2018, the only news is about the case of charging that will be sold and will be compatible with the current models. Also the charging base AirPower will be produced in the third quarter of the year.
Only confirmations for the iPhone, with the now very well known models OLED 5.8 and 6.5 inches, and LCD 6.1 inch. There are just beams on the availability of this model, because of delays in the production of LCD panels. Kuo confirms that this version will have the Face ID.
Small note on the iPad: the new models that will be presented in the fall will have all the Face ID, and a design with the frames of the most subtle, similar to that of the iPhone X. Provided only on models 11 and 12.9 inches.
