King Thor: Aaron and Ribic together again on the mini-series
A year ago, prior to the start of the event, War of the Realms, Aaron had announced that the Thor #1 launched in 2018 would be his last number 1 on the Thor; as you know things don't always go as you want, so that's for September is expected this King Thor, a mini-series of four numbers which will work again with the talented Esad Ribic.
The comics, as revealed on CBR, will lead to the conclusion of the whole Thor Saga... it will also allow Marvel to monetize with a new number 1 Aaron before having to supposedly revive the character with a new creative team.
Of course, this will also accompany the regular series of Thor with Thor #16 in output in April, which will kick off the final phase of Aaron on Thor. However, the conclusion of the War of the Realms leaves many doubts on the fate of the character, and the relationship between the main series and his new mini-series of four numbers. In King Thor, in fact, will be filming the stories of the Thor of the future and the Slaughterer of Gods, which weapon will end up in the hands of his half-brother the bad of the god of thunder...
King Thor will be sold in a version which is Immortal variant.
