Justice League: the Director's Cut of Zack Snyder's is far too expensive to be completed
Mario F. Robles of IGN has tweeted: “A source at Warner Bros. has confirmed that there is only an Assembly Cut version of Justice League directed by Zack Snyder. The soundtrack, Junkie XL is not over. There are many visual effects to be completed. The mounting of Snyder's not ‘unwatchable’ but it is his version. Warner Bros. no longer believes in his vision. It would cost millions of dollars.”

Zack Snyder has had to abandon the production of the Justice League due to a bereavement in the family. The system was replaced by Joss Whedon, director of the first two Avengers for Marvel and the upcoming Batgirl for DC-Warner. Warner has also replaced Junkie XL, composer of the soundtrack, with Danny Elfman.
