Here is the performance by John Barrowman at San Diego Comic-con 2017. The actor took to the stage dressed as a woman, in “the style of the Tardis”, singing Copacabana

Things that are not seen every day, but only at the San Diego Comic-Con.

John Barrowman, star of Doctor Who and Torchwood, this year has decided to stand on the stage wearing a skirt in the style of the Tardis, singing the notes of Copacabana in front of an audience of his fans.

Although this is the first time that the actor from the show during the convention nerd on the planet, this year the decision was taken to support the choice of Jodie Whittaker as the thirteenth Doctor in Doctor Who; the first woman Doctor in the show from the BBC (leaving wary, many fans of the series).

Here is an excerpt of his bizarre performance, filmed by a fan in the audience:

Barrowman then added:

“I totally immersed in the part!Are the Tardis transsexual!”

As we said, things which are not seen, and hear that every day.

The actor has also expressed his possible return as Captain Jack, explaining that the decision may only be taken by the new showrunner of the show, Chris Chibnall.
