Jessica Jones 3: David Tennant on the return of Killgrave
Waiting to have more news about the third season of Jessica Jones, David Tennant, a guest at the convention in Salt Lake City's FanX, had the opportunity to speak of a possible return of Killgrave, the villain protagonist (in one way or another) of these two seasons of the series.
“I don't want to do spoilers, but anyone who has regularly seen the series knows in which conditions is the character,” he laughed Tennant “With flashback you can go back, of course, but also in other ways...who knows, at the moment there is an ultimate plan and even if there were something in place to get back to Killgrave in effect, deny him. So who knows, he will come back? Everything can be”.
The actor then feeds the mystery around his character, surely one of the cornerstones of the series on Netflix, as well as the showrunner Melissa Rosenberg, who, with this third season, will say goodbye to the series: according to what was reported in fact, Warner Bros. Television would have “ripped” the Rosenberg Netflix offering a contract that is rumored to be eight figures. The showrunner might, therefore, pass from the handle, the heroine of Marvel comics and its universe, some character of the “rivals” of DC Comics.
“All my attention is now directed to the cast, the writers and all the amazing production team for Marvel's Jessica Jones, until the completion of the third season. Working for Marvel Television and Netflix is and will remain one of the highest points of my career. I am immensely grateful to the spectators who have supported us step by step in the journey of Jessica, who is so beautifully portrayed by Krysten Ritter, supported then by the actresses in fantastic like Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, and Carrie-Anne Moss. We have many writers of talent in every part of this show, I'm honored to be able to call friends and collaborators. Looking to my future after this season, I am excited about the idea of being able to explore new projects with the talented team at Warner Bros. Television, and delving into a new creative challenge”.
