IPhone 7: an experiment confirmed the presence of the sapphire [Video]
After the release of the new iPhone 7, Apple was immediately targeted by some of the users, for the dubious presence of the sapphire on smartphones. Phil Schiller has now proceeded to deny all of these accusations, but it was only today that we can provide confirmation of the effective presence of this material on the new iPhone 7.
To confirm the presence of the sapphire on the new iPhone 7 was the youtuber JerryRigEverything, which, thanks to a machinery very expensive, is able to verify the actual presence of this material. The use of the machine, XRF X-ray and electron microscope, revealed the presence of a thin “film” of sapphire which covers the camera and the Touch ID of the new iPhone 7. The precious material, therefore, there is, but it is really not often, just to ensure a sufficient protection for the two components.
If you want to find out how it was made this curious experiment, I invite you to watch the video below, created by JerryRigEverything.
