iPhone 12: According to Goldman Sachs, will not arrive before November
The bank partner of Apple Card, Goldman Sachs, expected that the iPhone 12 will not be launched before November, and advises investors to sell shares of stock AAPL.
Goldman Sachs said Friday that it expects that shipments of the iPhone will decrease 36% during Q3 due to blockages all over the world related to the coronavirus. He also added not to expect that the company will launch the next models of the iPhone before November, because the travel restrictions might prevent the final process of the design and production of Apple.
The bank says that, although it does not provide for any reduction of the loyalty to Apple among iPhone owners, you would expect that some of them will cause a delay in the purchase of new models and/or opt for cheaper models, like the iPhone, IF by 2020, just released.
It is true that there is the possibility that there is the launch of the iPhone 12 in September. Even though Foxconn says that it is returning to produce at full capacity, the iPhone maker relies on a complex network of parts suppliers, many of which you probably have slowed down significantly during the lock in China.
It is rumored also that Apple is concerned about the willingness of customers to buy phones premium while those that are likely to be difficult times.
