Incoming four or five new video games, Dungeons & Dragons, by 2019
During a recent interview, released exclusively to the pages of RollingStone, Chris Cocks, the president of Wizards of the Coast, said that by 2019 we will be able to play four or five new video games, Dungeons & Dragons; while many other titles, of different genres, will be followed by a free-wheel in 2020 (and beyond).
Here are his words:
“At the moment are already in development four or five new titles, which will arrive in the next twelve to eighteen months, while the other five or six are planned for 2020 and beyond. They belong to different genres.”
Dungeons & Dragons has the advantage of possessing many strengths, such as a compelling story and rich lore, that involves six or seven different worlds. It is a universe that is very large from which to draw ideas.
One of the first titles we already know who will be the Enhanced Edition of Neverwinter Nights, but I'm sure many of us would like also to be able to finally put their hands on a new official chapter of Baldur's Gate (but there accontenteremmo also an Icewind Dale 3).
What do you think? What would you like to see made by mommy Wizards and Atari? Please let us know via a comment below!
