In This Corner of the World, release date and teaser trailer of the extended edition of the film
The Twitter account of the de In This Corner of the World, has announced that the extended version of the animated movie taken from the manga Fumiyo Kono will be released in japanese cinemas on 20 December 2019.

This new version of the film, originally scheduled for December of 2018, but postponed to maintain the quality standards, will contain over 30 minutes of animation that will fit in more scenes of the manga and will be titled Kono Sekai no (Sara ni Ikutsumono) Katasumi ni — that is, In This Angle (and other Corners) of the World: chosen in agreement with the author, the title reflects the will of the director Sunao Katabuchi (Black Lagoon, Mai Mai Miracle) to show the perspective of several other lives as well as that of Suzu.
In Italy the film was released in the cinema thanks to Nexo Digital, and home video thanks to Dynit; the original manga is published by Planet Manga, the novel by Kappalab.
The life in Hiroshima flows serene for Suzu, a young dreamer who interprets reality by drawing it with a pencil. When Shusuke asks her in marriage, to move to Kure: it is the first of a series of traumas that will test his tenacity in the dramatic days of the Second World War.
