I Will Be Brief
Mark Menozzi – Giuseppe Ferrario, football Champions of yesterday and today, El editions
The proliferation of collections of biographies, thematic also has some positive side, if you can discern the ideal target. This book, for example, for the simplicity of the lyrics and the theme eye-catching is perfect for those guys who believe they can't bear to read. Champions is a book “the bait”: 30 short biographies of the many players who have done and are doing the history of football. The brevity of the individual narratives (1 or 2 pages for each protagonist) doesn't leave time for studies, but the texts are well packed: each sport is characterized through his personal story (also made up of sorrows and defeats!) and the success that he aroused in his audience, but the author does not disdain references to technical play special matches and awards received.
The stories are perfect for football fans who can discover of curiosity and lay the foundation for a personal culture and sports is commendable that women have not been excluded (there is, in fact, Hope solo and Marta Vieira da Silva).
The texts are very short and are ideal for boys of 7-8 years (2nd grade), maybe too simple for readers more run-in.
P.S. I should Add that in the same series there are collections of different sports (basketball, dance, swimming, motor racing, tennis ...).
The article will be Short seems to be the first on a low Shelf.
