The fans of Star Wars have decided to get together one last time to pay homage to Carrie Fisher, raising hundreds of lightsabers to the sky

Hundreds of Star Wars fans decided to meet in Anaheim (California), at the amusement park of Disneyland, to say goodbye one last time, “their” (our) Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher.

The event, organised by the social by Jeff Rowan, saw the participation of dozens and dozens of people who, with their swords, laser be raised up to the sky, followed a minute of silence to remember the death of the actress, who died a few days ago because of a cardiac arrest from which it is not able to recover.

Interviewed by CBS on the site, the organizer of the meeting said:

“I decided that we had to make a tribute and there was nothing more appropriate than doing it by raising to the sky, lightsabers, even if technically she has never taken one in hand. But I think that is a right homage towards Carrie, from us, the fans.”
