Robin Sparkles is back (at least temporarily)! Cobie Smulders is back, in fact, playing the role of alter ego of his character in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother aired for nine seasons on CBS.

The actress (now in the Stumptown ABC, still not renewed, and famous for having also played Maria Hill in the MCU at the cinema and on tv) has posted on Instagram a video in which he proposes a new version of “Let's go to the mall” (“let's Go to the mall”), renamed for the occasion “Let's stay at home” (“Stay home”), the date the health emergency in the contest, in the acoustic version playing the piano out of the house.

Robin Sparkles, or a Robin Scherbatsky teen canadian pop star, the “secret” that was revealed in the second season, from a video found by Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) was already back then in the series, to propose another hit of the period “dark” Robin, that is “Sandcastles in the sand” (“Castles in the sand”) with an absurd James Van Der Beek.

“I hope that this will distract you a bit – he certainly did with me,” said Smulders in the caption of the post, adding: “the new version is written by the creators of HIMYM, Craig Thomas and Carter Bays, with a new music of Brian Kim. Brian had arranged the original song and came back with this piano version, rewriting it when it was too difficult for me... it was a wonderful journey in the avenue of memories for me”.

Also, the initiative in the “housewife” like many others in this period, want to raise awareness donate to help the emergency in progress, in this case to Save the Children, and Canada Helps.

To you video:

Welp. Here it is. I hope it takes your mind off some things. It certainly did for me! A huge thank you to Craig Thomas and Carter Bays for the new lyrics. And to Brian Kim, who helped compose this song originally. He wrote this new plan version and then rewrote it when it was too challenging for me. It was a wonderful journey down memory lane.
