Hokuto Ga Gotoku: new video gameplay from Tokyo Game Show
The new gameplay videos show the protagonist of the story Kenshiro as he walks to his village and stumbles upon some skirmishes. If the images seem familiar, it's probably because Hokuto Ga Gotoku uses the same graphic engine as Yakuza Kiwami.
However, game producer Toshihiro Nagoshi has stated that it will not be a mere copy-paste of work done in the past on the games in the series of the Yakuza, because they will be introduced to some elements of the original and unique for Hokuto Ga Gotoku.
Hokuto Ga Gotoku is a new video game based on the protagonists and on the stories of the manga Hokuto No Ken, known in Italy under the name Ken the Warrior. In the game, the woman Ken, Yuria (in Italian Julia) is kidnapped by Shin, and because of its disappearance is presumed dead.
Also, because of its enormous power Kenshiro is sometimes considered by some as one of the bad guys, and this is even imprisoned, in the town of Eden, a victim of repeated attacks of Kyohou, a man who has all the intentions to continue to lay siege to Eden until he will have conquered.
