Here's why you should still install iOS 13 beta 1

This week Apple released the first beta for developers of iOS 13. Caught by a lot of news, users will always seek an alternative system to install the new firmware, even without a developer account, but there are a number of reasons for which you should probably wait a bit before proceeding with the upgrade.

The same Apple recognizes that the first beta version of iOS 13 is buggata, warning the “daredevils” that should probably wait for the public beta that will be released between the end of June and beginning of July:

Important note: if you are interested to try out the fantastic new features of iOS 13, we strongly recommend that you wait until the many bugs are fixed and improvements will come along with the public beta next month.

iOS 13 includes all of the problems that you would expect from a beta version of iOS. This results in:

In all five of the new beta (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS), you'll have compatibility issues with third-party apps. These betas are designed to offer developers the opportunity to update their applications prior to the release of stable versions in the fall.

Apple has also increased the level of difficulty of the installation of iOS 13. Although I have used a system OTE last year, the first beta of iOS 13 it is only available as a direct download from the website of Apple developers. It also requires the installation of the beta version of Xcode and using iTunes.

Apple will release the public beta releases of macOS 10.15, iOS 13, and tvOS 13 next month, will be the most stable of the current beta, but it will still have bugs. The public beta and future versions of the developers will also be available as updates over-the-air, greatly simplifying the installation process.

If you are still tempted to try out iOS 13, and/or other beta, our advice is to install them on secondary devices. This will allow you to try out the new functionality, while preserving at the same time the experience on your primary devices.

You're using the first beta versions to developers iOS 13, macOS 10.15 Catalina, watchOS 6 and tvOS 13? If yes, what bugs have you found? Please let us know in the comments.
