Spoke at podcast Happy Sad Confused, MTV, David Harbour (Stranger Things), interpreter of Hellboy in the reboot film, said: “Ron Perlman put on the show look macho Hellboy and I liked it, it was a performance superdivertente. But I think that Hellboy is also a bit psychopathic. It should prove to be a lion must roar, and has an inner conflict with his masculinity. But I don't think I need it in this film. I have an approach a little different to his potential and at his ease. I think he is a little less capable of giving that self-image.”

The reboot of Hellboy will be forbidden to minors, and will be directed by Neil Marshall (The Descent, Doomsday, Game of Thrones, Constantine). David Harbour (Stranger Things) will be the protagonist. Ian McShane (Game of Thrones, American Gods) will be the prof. Broom, adoptive father of Hellboy. Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) will be the Queen of the Blood, the major villain of the film. Sasha Lane (American Honey) will be Alice Monaghan. Ed Skrein (Deadpool) will be Ben Daimio. Mike Mignola, creator of Hellboy, has written the screenplay along with Andrew Cosby and Christopher Golden.
