Hayao Miyazaki, no deadline for the completion of his next film
In an article published March 9 in the journal Bungei Shunju, the producer and co-founder of Studio Ghibli, Toshio Suzuki stated that Hayao Miyazaki is working on his new animated film, Kimi-tachi wa Do Ikiru ka (What is your way of life?) without a date, deadline to complete it.
This is the first time that the studio works in this way and for this reason the Suzuki is curious to see how it will impact on the work.
The manufacturer has added that the master Miyazaki is not a person attached to the money, and believes that the father of Totoro is not really able to retire, because to live as a normal retired would bore; believes, furthermore, that the sensei feels more at home when he continues to work on the production of a film.
Suzuki, finally, is aware that Kimi-tachi wa Do Ikiru ka was defined as the last film of Hayao Miyazaki; however, he believes that as long as will be alive the master will probably continue to make films.
Kimi-tachi wa Dou Ikiru ka is inspired by the best selling novel same name by writer and journalist Genzaburo Yoshino published in 1937; the release is expected between 3 or 4 years.
Recall that, according to the distributor, Wild Bunch Studio Ghibli would work on a further film made by Goro Miyazaki.
