Artist Bryan Hitch confirmed on Twitter that he will leave the Hawkman after the twelfth number in the series. The solicitations for the outputs of the June DC Comics have revealed that Will Conrad will take over as designer of the series, starting from the number 13. Robert Venditti, who wrote the series up to this point, will remain in its place.

Okay, well, since solicitations are out an noticed, yes, issue 12 is my last issue of Hawkman. I'd hope to be able to let you all know BEFORE solicitations but somebody dropped that ball at her office. So yeah, the beyond epic issue 12 is, sadly, my last issue.

The Hitch has, then, yes confirmed that it's his last number in the series, but it was also fast in reassuring the fans and followers that this is not the last number in a series for DC Comics.

Thanks Doc! (whatever THEY may be. Two projects out this year....)

When the friend artist Doc Shaner sent it to Hitch a message of support, Hitch has revealed that she has “two projects to be released later this year”. These two projects have not yet been revealed, and may be linked to other characters or groups of superheroes. It is also unknown to date if the Hitch will limit you to making only the designer or if it will also be a writer, which he has done in the past.

Hawkman #11 will be released on the 10th of April.
