Have a new MacBook Retina 13": the Air is at the terminus?
An insider from Apple, usually accurate forecast of Apple hardware, he believes that the MacBook Retina will replace the Air in the immediate future.
In a note sent to investors, Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple will launch in the third quarter of 2016 a version 13" of the current MacBook 12". It will be a laptop with a slightly larger display and a design similar to the model 12" and recently updated.
The analyst is convinced that the line of MacBook Air is almost come to an end, a situation that would explain Apple's decision to sell versions of the MacBook 12" and 13" rather than update the line to Air.
The MacBook Air, if the prediction of Kuo were to become reality, could become the option for entry-level customers who want to buy an Apple laptop at a price more “content”.
