H3G will start to block some of the advertising on mobile sites
As reported by Engage, H3G will be the first mobile operator to integrate a sort of anti-advertising that will be applied at the level of the network on smartphones and tablets.
Following an agreement with Shine Technologies, H3G is ready to integrate a filter that will block various advertisements on the browser of your smartphone and tablet. This is a real system of ad-blocking, which will be activated initially in Great Britain and in Italy and in other european countries.
The company does know that this choice was taken in order to protect the privacy of the users, so that advertisers can use ads to collect information about customers without their consent; to avoid that the users pay for the data traffic used to download the advertising (these costs, says H3G, should be paid for by advertisers); to allow users to receive advertising in line with their tastes and their interests, without the presence of the ads is irrelevant.
This type of block will not be on all advertisements, but in the intentions of H3G will be used to better filter the various ads.
