Google Pixel 4 will offer a true dual SIM support | Rumor
In the last few months we have often spoken of the arrival of new versions of the smartphone Google Pixel. The californian company, as we well know, may enter the market in the first months of the 2019 versions of the Lite of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL (HERE we speak of the numbers the model and any prices). In the meantime, despite missing so much time before the next event Made by Google, on the web start to turn the first rumor regarding the Pixels 4.
Thanks to a commit of the project Android Open Source, the Gerrit suggests to us that Google is adding new lines of code in the framework and in the service provider to determine if a device has the hardware support for the functionality in multiSIM. However, it is even more interesting to see a comment left from a googlers in one of the commit: the Pixels in 2019 will have dual SIM functionality.
Certainly the Google Pixel 2 and the Google Pixel 3 support, in a sense, the dual SIM, but only a normal SIM slot combined with an eSIM. Such embedded SIM card, or SIM card embedded inside the device, Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 will not allow you to use the network SIM physics and network eSIM at the same time. This therefore means that the last Pixel support yes dual SIM card but Single Standby (DSSS), or even having two SIM can't receive calls or SMS in the SIM card slot is idle.Google Pixel 3 XL is available online from Clicksmart 799 euro, or from ePrice to 948 euros. Google Pixel 3 is available online from Clicksmart 699 euro or from Amazon at 797 euros. Google's Pixel 2 is available online from Clicksmart to 399 euro or from Amazon to 510 euro.
