Google Maps now lets users browse in incognito mode on Android. On iOS coming soon

Users are finally starting to understand how important the Privacy and the large companies receive more and more pressure in this sense. Thanks to all of this, is coming in the incognito mode on Google Maps.

We can then use the maps and Google navigator without leaving a trace on the server and without data on the locations sought to be collected and analyzed by the company. Incognito mode, it will function in a very similar way to what happens in the web browser.

We will be able to search for the places without finding them in the history, and without getting that series of recommendations, or forecasts to which the software has accustomed us. The function is barely out of the testing phase and is ready to reach out to all Android smartphones. For iOS, there will still have to wait, however, the company promises that it will arrive “soon“.

The incognito mode will also work on the Android Drive, and web browser. To activate it simply tap the menu and select the appropriate icon. The status bar will change color and become black, just to make us understand that from that moment on, no data will be recorded.

Staying on the subject of Privacy, Google has announced the arrival of the automatic deletion of history on YouTube. Users will be able to opt for the automatic cancellation every 3 or 18 months. Who would not want to remove it, you must switch to a management “manual”.
