Google Maps for iOS gets incognito mode

Google has announced that they are extending the incognito mode in Google Maps for iOS, allowing users to look for the signs privately without which the information is saved on a Google account.

Google has introduced the incognito mode for Android devices at the beginning of this year in the context of a focus of 2019 on the simplification of the control, management and elimination of information on the Chronology of the positions.

When we do a search in Google Maps while you are connected to our Google account, the places that we are saved to enhance functions such as advice on restaurants, and are added to the History.

During the search for a location in Google Maps in incognito mode, the iPhone does not update the History, so the places to be visited will not be saved in history, nor will it be available personalization features in the Maps.

Google Maps is also acquiring a new delete option to the collective for the Timeline, using the position History to help users remember the places and locations they have visited. With the option to delete the collective, it is easier to find and delete multiple locations simultaneously from the Timeline and from the History of the positions.

Download the free Google Maps App from the App Store.
