Google Fuchsia will support the Android app: confirmations from the source code
Google Fuchsia OS will support running Android apps: the information comes from some of the recent changes made to the source code of Android itself and notice by colleagues from 9to5google. Specifically, it has been included a README file to explain the existence of the repository /device/google/fuchsia. The text content in the file is impossible to mistake: it says that the repository used to develop ART for the Fuchsia.
ART, or Android Runtime, is the runtime environment responsible for translating application code into machine language understandable by the hardware of the device. The ART of Fuchsia will be a special version and also the applications will require special attention: the document explains that the traditional APK will not go well, they will serve the packages to the appropriate extension.
Of course at this stage there are still many technical details to understand, but as we know, Fuchsia is a long-term project. Certainly the support of the immense ecosystem of apps, games and services for Android is a news comforting: on the other hand you know that without the app, these days, you can't go far.The only real Notes.?
